Rob Lonardo
Rob Lonardo is originally from Rhode Island. It is no surprise to anyone who knew him as a child that he grew up to be a great man. He attended Cranston High School East where he was a very popular and good student. When it was time for graduation, Rob Lonardo was quickly accepted to the University of Miami. Naturally while there, Rob Lonardo majored in Entrepreneurship. It was at this time that Rob Lonardo was chosen to be an intern for the United States Senator Bob Graham (D-FL).
Being an intern was a great learning experience for Rob Lonardo, he learned so much about how to get things done in the real world, this would prove to be a valuable experience. University of Southern California was Rob Lonardo’s next stop in his education where he earned a degree in Finance and Political Science.
The next stop for Rob Lonardo was to start a promotions business. This turned out to be a great idea; it was a short period of time before he was helping to open Club Envy at USC. Soon after the clubs opening Robert and a couple of friends opened a business called Union Marketing Group and they took the L.A. night club scene by storm. Rob Lonardo became well known in the promotions business as the person to see to make your opening hot.
People like Rob Lonardo who have a drive for business know how frequently they can’t sit by for long without trying something new. So Rob Lonardo sold his part of the business to his partners and got into mortgage banking. Rob Lonardo was at first a rookie loan officer at South Bay Funding. While there he as mentored by Michael Talasaz. Michael was able to show Rob Lonardo how to become an awesome salesperson. Soon Rob Lonardo was the number one salesperson for that firm. Being a salesperson was really Rob Lonardo’s time to shine. Shortly thereafter Rob Lonardo was given the chance to be the manager at Platinum Capital Group. He was to manage teams of 20+ loan officers.
Working as a manager for Platinum Capital Group taught Rob Lonardo so much that he opened his own firm. Rob Lonardo called this new company International Funding Solutions. This was a very successful firm. Rob Lonardo held mortgage broker licenses in over 35 states.
When the market crashed in 2008, Rob Lonardo decided to get into loss mitigation. Once again Rob Lonardo stated his own business and it was such a success that he was able to retire at a very young age from the real estate business and enjoy life.
